Tie-Down Violation – Next Level

Tie-Down Violation – Next Level

Nov 12, '19

This owner has really taken his tie-down skills to the “next level.” Because of the fender well blocking our view, we’ll assume the left rear wheel is secured just like the left front wheel.

  1. If that’s the case, there is nothing keeping this vehicle from rolling forward or backward.
  2. We’re certain the inside of the wheel spokes are coming in contact with the webbing. The amount of abrasion is at “bandsaw” level.

Because of the low profile of the vehicle, a Custom-Fit Tire Net, paired with Mac’s track and idler fittings, would be an ideal solution. This would keep the tie downs from touching the vehicle chassis and make it easier to access the ratchet handle. Watch what we mean
