Tie-Down Violation- UTV

Tie-Down Violation- UTV

Mar 5, '19
Too bad this owner doesn’t give as much care and consideration to his UTV as he does to his cooler. Let’s hope it’s a short trip around the block.
1. One tie-down assembly pulling the UTV to the side on a slippery trailer deck is unsafe and illegal.

2. Since there is no proper trailer deck anchor points it seems the tie down is routed through a stake pocket. Hopefully the owner used a safety-style hook.

Our Solution:

A Mac’s UTV Tie-Down Pack would be a considerable upgrade to this tie-down situation. Using two straps in the front and two on the rear would help distribute the weight evenly. Without proper anchor points, chain extensions could be fed through the stake pockets.

Add Chain Extensions to your UTV Tie-Down Pack order and save $30 versus buying them individually. Simply choose “Direct Hook with Chain Extension” before adding to your cart.
