Every trailer is different, just like every trailer application is different. Choose the 2" end fitting that works best for your setup, and decide if you need a ratchet strap with a direct hook end for better accessibility, or a sewn fixed end for more length. Replace old, worn or outdated fixed ends with this 2" fixed end strap replacement. The fixed end design is the traditional end configuration, where a fixed length of webbing, approximately 9" long, separates the attachment hook from the ratchet handle. It can be used with most of our Ratchet Strap assemblies or in place of a Direct Hook Ratchet when you need a little extra length for your strap.
You will receive only the flat hook and 9" webbing, commonly referred to as the fixed end. Simply pull the strap material out of your old ratchet, feed the strap through the new ratchet and you're ready to go! If you have a direct hook ratchet already, remove the bolt holding the twisted snap hook in place, put the loop opening into the ratchet and replace the bolt. This is also a great choice if the webbing is damage but the ratchet is still functional.
This 2" strap assembly is rated at a 10,000 lb. load capacity, giving you plenty of safety margin. Only the highest quality strap material is used, which significantly improves chafing and UV resistance over "standard" straps.
